An anniversary meal

We went to beryl and Richards today for an anniversary meal for their 30th Wedding anniversary.

They treated us to a fantastic 3 course meal (shouln’t we have cooked for their anniversary?!), lots of wine and we had a lovely day with them, the girls and my parents.

The menu was lovely and so was the company.

Thanks to you both for inviting us and for all your hard work. Hope we didn’t wear you out too much!

A new job

Today I started my new job at sainsburys!

It’s just temporary at the moment and today was just my induction/training but it was still very scary!

I have been out of work (other than working 24/7 at home!) for over a year and the thought was terrifying.

The induction went well, I felt very old but it was nice. It will also give the girls some quality time with their daddy without me butting in!

Beryl and Richard’s 30th Wedding anniversary

Today was Beryl and Richard’s pearl wedding anniversary.

We saw them Sunday and gave them a bouquet of flowers which they loved and Mum and Dad bought them a photo frame with space for a photo on their wedding day and 30th anniversary.

They went out for a meal tonight to celebrate and we will be having lunch with them in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations to you both, 30 years is a huge acheivement!

Andrew’s 30th Birthday and Howard’s 34th

Today was Andrew’s 30th birthday.

We went to Mum and Dad’s for a surprise party where there were lots of friends and family. Debbie had organised pass the parcel for the children which kept them all entertained for a while.

Mum had done lots of food so huge thanks to her for that.

Andrew had some nice gifts.

After this, we travelled to Brundall for a firework party our friend Howard was having for his birthday. (34th!)

We saw some lovely fireworks and as usual, a huge bonfire. Amie liked the “quiet pretty one’s” but wasn’t keen on the noisy one’s. Ask her for a demonstration of the noise that the noisy one’s made!

James took some lovely photos.

We put the girls to bed and then had a chinese takeaway with Howard and his family.
